ARTIST / FUTURIST / SYNESTHETE

Y. Villarreal

Venezuelan, b.1951

Villarreal’s work is a decorous invitation to a strange world where logic and imagination conspire in our favor and penetrate beyond the standards of reason….this is synesthesia; simple and daily state of the perceptual nature, where two or more images are given; a SUBJECTIVE and another OBJECTIVE.. Associated sensations that fluctuate between the borders of what’s REAL and SURREAL
He has participated in several collective exhibitions in various countries including; United States, France, China, Belgium, Canada, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.
